At Daveste’ Vineyards, we take a minimalist approach in winemaking.
Our fruit comes from our own carefully tended estate vineyard and other select North Carolina vineyards; the remainder comes from reputable Virginia vineyards.
We aim to gently handle the fruit at harvest and allow our wines to age and mature with limited interference.
Our wines are developed in very small lots, with some estate wines totaling as few as 25 cases, and total production currently limited to 1,500 cases per year.
Typically, our white wines are produced 100% in stainless steel. And our red wines, depending on the variety, are blended from lots that have been aged in both new and neutral French oak.
All of our wines are made here at Daveste’ and are crafted by our winemaker in our winery.
